What You’ll Do: - Develop and oversee patient- and resident-centered menus that meet medical nutrition therapy needs. - Collaborate with chefs and food service teams to provide meals that are both nutritious and satisfying. - Ensure menus, production records, and meal service are fully compliant with healthcare regulations and dietary standards. - Provide nutrition assessments and counseling for patients/residents, including those with food allergies, chronic conditions, or special diets. - Serve as the facility’s nutrition expert during state, federal, or accreditation surveys. - Educate patients, families, and staff with practical nutrition guidance and wellness resources. - Champion a positive food culture that promotes health, dignity, and quality of life.
