POSITION SUMMARY: The Republic Services Cybersecurity Team is committed to secure and protect Republic Services’ information anywhere, on any device, and at all times. We are seeking the brightest and most enthusiastic cybersecurity professionals to partner with in protecting Republic Services data and building out a culture of security. Members of our team demonstrate passion, relentlessness, and resourcefulness as they pave the path forward constantly working to stay ahead of the latest threats. The Senior Data Protection Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise security solutions. The Senior Data Protection Engineer will help lead the greater mission of the team and will architect, design, and support technology solutions towards the protection of sensitive data. This will be done by leveraging tools such as Endpoint Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), database monitoring and encryption methodologies (at rest, in transit, masking etc.) and other tools.
