Job description

Summary Foundation Academies seeks a highly effective and detail-oriented Summer Academy Assistant Principal (6–8) to support the Summer Academy Principal in delivering a rigorous, well-executed summer program. The Assistant Principal is responsible for ensuring strong daily execution of instruction, consistent classroom expectations, and real-time use of data to improve student outcomes. This role serves as the primary driver of instructional quality and teacher support, while also ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a leadership role for someone who can coach adults, monitor systems, and ensure that what is planned is executed at a high level every day. This role includes pre-program planning and post-program follow-through. Success will be measured by instructional quality across classrooms, teacher effectiveness and growth, student academic progress, and strength of daily program execution.
