Description The Department of Oncology and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is recruiting a board eligible/ board certified MD or MD, PhD medical oncologist with research and clinical experience in the field of adolescent and young adult (AYA) oncology, to establish and lead a newly developed AYA Oncology Program at the SKCCC. The ideal candidate will be a junior faculty member or recent graduate of a fellowship training program in medical/ pediatric oncology, with preference given to candidates who are dual board certified/ eligible in both pediatric oncology and medical oncology. Clinical responsibilities will be in the care of adolescent and young adult patients with solid tumors, and research activities will be aligned with the interests and expertise of the candidate but should center around AYA Oncology. A major focus of the newly established AYA Oncologist position should be in the program building efforts towards the creation of the SKCCC AYA Oncology Program.
