Job Type Full-time Description: As a Cook, you will play a vital role in supporting survivors by ensuring access to nutritious meals in a safe, welcoming environment. This role combines meal planning, food preparation, compliance, and client interaction, contributing directly to the health and well-being of individuals and families in shelter. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Meal Planning & Preparation: - Plan and prepare daily meals and snacks that meet program and client needs. - Develop and post weekly menus in accordance with program guidelines. - Ensure meals are nutritious, timely, and appropriate for diverse client needs. Food Program Compliance & Operations: - Ensure full compliance with Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) requirements and other regulatory standards. - Manage food ordering, inventory, and storage to maintain efficient kitchen operations. - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to food program requirements.
