Job Description: AMA is currently accepting applications for a summer intern position associated with the Aerothermodynamics branch in the Entry Systems Division at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA. The successful candidate will work on a short term (10 week) project assisting NASA’s efforts to develop a high-performance software library for modeling finite rate air physics on GPUs, something no other widely used aerothermodynamics library can do. The results of this project will be released through NASA’s software catalog and will provide the American hypersonics community with a foundational component to accelerate the development of advanced modeling and simulation tools that leverage the power of GPUs. The pay rate for this position will be $29.50-$33.50 per hour and is commensurate with experience and education.
