Description Position Summary: Provides professional physical therapy services to complement the Physical Therapist’s role of delivering superior care. Essential Job Functions: - Follows through with treatment plans as established by a Physical Therapist - Observes patients during treatments - Compiles data on patients’ responses to treatments and progress and reports orally or in writing to the Physical Therapist - Understands and complies with universal precautions, safety and risk policies and procedures - Assists with department QA reports and records - Performs necessary documentation including progress notes and logs in timely manner - Monitors treatments administered by Physical Therapy Aids and/ or Rehab Technicians - Performs clerical duties such as taking inventory, answering telephones and taking messages - Utilizes and maintains equipment and supplies - Prepares supplies as needed - Keeps exam tables and pillows sanitized after every patient - Sanitizes and keeps the clinical area tidy - Performs Swinex pool maintenance on a daily basis to include placing appropriate chemicals in the pool, performing testing and keeps area clean and safe - Maintains patient and Company c...
