Description Job Expectations: 24 hour shifts *DECH is an equal opportunity employer. - Emergency Physician bears a responsibility to practice Emergency Medicine in an ethical manner consistent with the hospital vision and rules. - Emergency Physicians have a valid medical license and retain a current federal narcotics license number. - Emergency Physicians practice emergency medicine within the emergency department, remain in the immediate vicinity of the emergency department and provide the best treatment available to all patients regardless of their age, gender, race, and/or religion. - Emergency Physicians maintain current emergency medicine knowledge and skills through independent study and continuing medical education activities and should maintain current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications. - Emergency Physicians exhibit professionalism in the emergency department in regards to behavior, attire, and reliability, and maintain a professional relationship with other health care providers, patients and their families. - Emergency Physicians are members of the medical staff and participate in their affairs. - Emergency Physicians must maintain knowledge of and compliance with fede...
