Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and motivated RedHat Linux/Unix Systems Administrator to join our 24x7 enterprise support organization. The administrator will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining the operating system and related software. This role establishes and implements standards for computer operations to ensure compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems. This position differs from an Operating Systems Programmer as it does not involve altering the operating system's software code. Key Responsibilities: System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain servers running RedHat Linux operating systems, adhering to established internal processes. Upgrades and Maintenance: Recommend hardware and software upgrades based on growth statistics.
