Aircraft Inspector NDT NAS410 Level 2 – 16429 - 16429 Description: AAR is the place of choice to build an inspiring career. Determines airworthiness of work performed. Examines aircraft, engines, components and materials by using NDT and visual means and records results of inspections to ensure continued airworthiness through accomplishment of the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet - Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual. - Interface with suppliers / product line to disposition rejects. - Perform NDT inspections in compliance with customer work instructions, and AAR procedures and policies. - Record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures. - Responsible for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of Aircraft and Components. - Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method(s) as used by the employer. - Shall be capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff. - Be capable of selecting the met...
