Job Description Summary As the Shift Operations Leader for the Dry Conversion Process (DCP) team you are responsible for shift safety, product quality, and efficient product manufacturing. This team is part of the Fuel Manufacturing Operation (FMO) in the Nuclear business. The team converts UF6 to UO2 powder for use in manufacturing of nuclear fuel for commercial nuclear power plants. The Shift Operations Leader - DCP is responsible for one of either four DCP continuous operations (12-hour rotating) shifts or one (M-F 8-hour shift). Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure team members are provided adequate training, resources and support to assure safe manufacturing practices in a nuclear regulated environment Be responsible for meeting the shift's strict EHS requirements, product quality requirements and production schedule requirements Serve as the interim site Emergency Director during off shifts and weekends until relieved Assure operation planning - provide direction to support needs of production area, including work assignments, scheduling of overtime, and training Focus team on constantly seeking opportunity for improvement.
