Description GENERAL SUMMARY: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents patient care in accordance with the facility, departmental and professional nursing practice. The LPN utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data, plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to patients. The ability to provide documentation in electronic format is required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/COMPETENCIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assessment and Documentation of New and Established Patient/Consult: Review patient history, including prior medical/surgical and urological history. Requires thorough documentation and assessment in an appropriate time frame.
