Job Description Summary This role is responsible for the design of electrical power systems supporting the BWRX-300 Small Module Reactor. This involves the design, analysis, procurement and integration of the electrical power systems ranging from the main generator and grid connection, in plant distribution system down to the end use loads. The work location for this role is Wilmington, NC or Atlanta, GA (relocation assistance provided if not already local). Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: System Architecture: Lead the design and integration of SC1/Class 1E (safety-related) and SC2 and SC3 electrical systems, including Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution. Analysis & Modeling: Perform complex electrical studies such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protective relay coordination using ETAP software using ANSI / IEC standards. Prepare Electrical Engineer Deliverables: Prepare electrical engineering deliverables such as Requirements Specifications, Electrical Load Lists, One-lines, Calculations, Schematics and 3-Line lines.
