Position: Adjunct Professor - Animation: Entertainment and Game Art Design Department: Academic Affairs: Type of Position: Adjunct Faculty: Exemption Status: Exempt: Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs Opportunity for hybrid schedule: Yes: Starting Salary Range: Adjunct base rate is $1,208-$1,344 per workload hour in all ILL classes and depending on degree and teaching experience and in accordance with the adjunct pay table listed in the Master Agreement. Position Summary: The Animation Department is seeking an adjunct professor to teach on-campus, 15-week, face-to-face sections of 2D and 3D animation classes as assigned and capacity allows. There is the possibility that an occasional online or HYB section could be assigned. This is a professional training program using industry software with the goal of making our graduates ready to be competitive and job ready in the animation and digital media profession. The successful applicant for this job may teach Integrated Lecture Lab courses with the equivalent of 5.1 workload hours, and/or serve as a substitute professor.
