Capital Expenditure Claim Auditor

Job description

The Capital Expenditure Claim Auditor will be responsible for independently assessing and auditing supplier cancellation and change‑related claims involving capitalized assets and capital‑related cost exposures . This role focuses on determining whether supplier claims are appropriately classified, authorized, supported, and contractually committed , in accordance with Company policies and contractual requirements. The Capital Expenditure Claim Auditor plays a key role in CAPEX governance , including evaluation of asset classification, fixed and labor cost authorization, and contract commitment controls. This individual will interact with suppliers, Purchasing , Engineering, and Finance to resolve disputed claims and support fact‑based settlement decisions. The auditor will perform substantive testing of supplier claims, obtaining sufficient and appropriate evidence to support claim recommendations, documenting results and findings, and communicating conclusions to appropriate stakeholders.
