GD Resources LLC is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technician (Radiologic Technologist) to provide on-site diagnostic imaging services for the adult in custody (AIC) population at a federal correctional facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures, operating independently, and ensuring timely delivery of diagnostic results. This position requires both clinical expertise and the ability to work in a secure correctional environment . Work Schedule: - 2 service visits per quarter - Each visit: 8-hour shift (typically between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) - Maximum: 16 hours per quarter (~64 hours annually) - Schedule may be adjusted based on facility needs - No work on Federal holidays (unless required) Key Responsibilities: - Perform ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures as ordered by medical staff - Operate and maintain portable ultrasound equipment (provided by contractor) - Independently conduct imaging and ensure diagnostic-quality results - Transmit studies and reports electronically in a timely manner - Identify and communicate preliminary abnormalities to physicians - Maintain patient records, logs, and ex...
