Job DetailsJob Location: Main Campus - Marietta, GA 30060Position Type: Part-Time StaffPURPOSE Operate radio base station; NCIC/GCIC computer; CAD system; maintain records; answer phones; clerical work; shift work. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Answers 911/Emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire and emergency medical services (EMS) response and codes the same. Dispatch radio calls for Campus Assistance. Maintains radio and case number log book. Prepares and maintains some departmental correspondence; department statistics, weekly activities, lists, incidents reports. Accesses a variety of computer information systems and databases to retrieve, verify, and enter data. Testifies in court. Gives lifesaving and pre-arrival instructions to callers in emergency situations for which he or she has been trained. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed. Exhibits student centeredness in performance of all job duties.
