Description Laikin and Levin Home Care: Part of the Hooverwood Living Family SUMMARY: The PCA/HHA will provide routine, scheduled personal care services to home care clients on campus as well as to others in the greater community. Provide assistance with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living including but not limited to bathing, grooming, mobility, light housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship and driving or accompanying clients to appointments. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide routine, scheduled personal care to the client, including but not limited to bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, applying TED hose. - Assist client with mobility, including but not limited to walking, transferring, turning, and positioning. Assist client with prescribed exercises to which the client and the aide have been trained. - Assist with self-care needs including but not limited to toileting needs, including assistance with bedpan, urinal, bedside commode, toilet use and incontinence care. - Plan, shop, prepare, or assist with meal prep and prescribed diets. - Assist clients to self-administer medications.
