POSITION SUMMARY: Marathon Petroleum Company is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to develop and implement capital projects at its Garyville, Louisiana refinery. The selected applicant would fill the role of Process Lead for ~1-2 major capital projects, i.e. projects with an installed cost >$25MM. The Process Lead will work alongside other engineering and craft disciplines in a team environment to develop, engineer and implement projects that enhance the operation of the facility. Some travel (10-25%) to interface with engineering contractors should be expected. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish the business case justifying new investment opportunities. Develop the process design basis and determine equipment modifications needed to achieve project objectives. Lead and participate in PFD, P&ID and Constructability reviews.
