Department: 36102 Advocate Condell Medical Center - Emergency Department Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 7pm to 7am; 3 days per week with every third weekend and holiday rotation. Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Scheduled Hours: Full Time; Night Shift 7pm to 7am, including rotating every 3rd weekend and then rotating holidays. Education/Experience Required: 2-3 yrs. of hospital patient care or pre-hospital patient care experience or completion of 1 yr. of nursing school clinical rotations Certified Nursing Assistant: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Ability to use keyboard, see computer screen. Ability to move / lift patients and push carts, etc. Current CPR certification Major Responsibilities: Perform patient care as directed by nursing or medical staff. 1)EMT-Ps licensed by IDPH may complete the housewide competency to start IVs, saline locks, and administer IV fluids. 2)Assist both nursing and physicians to perform various invasive procedures such as advanced airway, central line insertion, etc. 3)All ED Techs: bedside monitor application and lead placement (cardiac monitor, NIBP, pulse ox), 12 lead EKGs, p...
