Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Reports to: Director of HME Operations Scheduled Hours: PRN-As Needed: Duties/Responsibilities: - Assessing patients' respiratory conditions and developing treatment plans. - Administering respiratory/sleep disordered breathing therapies. - Monitoring patients' responses to therapy and adjusting treatment plans as needed. - Educating patients and their families on respiratory conditions and home care. - Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures. - Administer respiratory/sleep disorder treatments as prescribed - Educate patient and caregivers on prescribed treatment - Develop patient plan of care with patient’s physician and evaluate patients’ response to therapy - Review patient medical records to assure equipment coverage requirements are met. - Develop and maintain working knowledge of (i) current HME products and services offered and (ii) all applicable governmental regulations. - Ensures that all required documentation including, but not limited to certificates of medical necessity, and assignment of benefits required for reimbursement are procured in a timely and efficient manner - Develops and maintains working knowledge of cu...
