Digital Construction Coordinator Reporting to the Digital Construction Manager, the Digital Construction Coordinator (VDC Coordinator) will facilitate the implementation of Bird’s Digital Construction program on project sites, providing BIM/VDC services to the Operations team at the project level. This role will be based out of the South Edmonton office. What You Will Be Working On Perform design coordination and assist in identifying constructability issues with the project team and subcontractors through clash detection of 3D models. Collaborate with the site team to develop the site logistics plan in a model environment and video or plan exports as required. Responsible as “model administrator” for assigned projects. Assist in training other project staff and subcontractors on digital construction related software and workflows as required. Ensure model accuracy for project specific requirements including the quality of As-Built conditions. Assist Estimating department with quantity take-off.
