Let’s Redefine Possible®: Project Name: Kay Repower Wind Project Project Location: Newkirk, OK 74647 PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION: Responsible for marking, positioning, and securing structural steel members to reinforce concrete or building structures. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: -Setting up, flagging, and inspecting a crane -Inspecting rigging properly -Running a site level -Checking-in truck deliveries against bill of lading when load arrives -Counting bars and bundles of rebar, dobies, and wire mesh -Directing forklift/crane to unload delivery truck -Shaking out rebar and distributing/organizing accordingly -Using pliers to tie rebar intersections with tie wire -Splicing mats or rebar sections together with short rebar dowels -Understanding building codes/requirements -Cutting excess rebar ends and miscellaneous pieces with gas cut saw or cutting torch -Installing mechanical r...
