General Accountability: Working as a member of the team the Summer Production Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various manufacturing and distribution processes to meet the company and customer’s expectations for quality and delivery of products. Including Material preparation processes – Rubber Handrail production – assembly; press operation; preparing splice kits NT production – cleaning tooling; building NTP reels DeFlector brushes – preparing kits MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Product Realization: a) Operates very complex machinery in the manufacturing and joining of plastic handrails and other parts. Maintains equipment as per the preventive maintenance program. Disassembles and reassembles dies and extruders for style changes.
