This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time construction field inspector with an electrical background for delivering Construction Inspection Services on transportation projects in our client's field office (NY & NJ). The candidate will be involved in projects with our Project Management/Construction Management team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges, including expertise in electrical system installations and installation of new fire alarms, as well as integration with existing facility-wide fire alarm systems. Your Impact: - Provide assistance to the Project Manager / Resident Engineer as directed - Overall contract compliance via daily inspections for all electrical construction work, and electrical and communications systems including fire alarm installations and integration with facility-wide systems - Prepare daily inspection reports in accordance with the project's requirements, recording and reporting any deviations from contract documents - Review contractor As-Builts monthly to ensure they are updated - Conduct and document, per client procedures, onsite QA/QC activities through u...
