Role Summary Planning & Scheduling Supervisor Company: MANN+HUMMEL: Location: Portage, MI: #LI-Onsite The Planning & Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for steering the creation of production plans according to customer demands and production capacity. Main Tasks: - Supervises supplier material planners and production scheduling planners - Responsible for ensuring material availability for production - Monitors supplier material shortages and FG/WIP shortages to minimize impact on our customers. - Create and maintain annual cycle count plan using ABC/XYZ methodology. Ensure all cycle count adjustments are timely and correctly entered into SAP. - Monitor status of on hand inventory for FG, WIP and raw materials to ensure inventory values are within target inventory goals - Work with planners to develop and implement corrective action for inventory that exceeds planned target goals - Evaluate inventory monthly to determine if there are obsolescence parts that need to be dispositioned - Plans for the long and short-term growth of the department, including development of staffing plans, training, and documentation - Ensure department standards of performance are clearly and consisten...
