Job description

The Foreman directs, supervises, and troubleshoots routine issues that occur on the job site. T his position requires regular travel to various project sites within the Midwest, and overnight travel may be necessary. Duties include a variety of tasks, including ensuring that safety rules are followed on the site at all times and developing work schedules based on employee and contractor availability. General housekeeping and other manual labor tasks are included as well. Responsibilities: - Coordinate daily tasks according to schedule and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel. - Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors. - Train, manage, and mentor employees and contractors. - Provide adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs. - Emphasize safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures. - Develop and manage project budgets and quality standards for all sites. - Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably. - Regularly report project status to supervisors...
