Journeyman Electrician - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job description

Essential Duties and Tasks: - Analyze machine error messages, test results, and operator observations to diagnose equipment problems. - Interpret technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, elementary schematics, ladder diagrams and logic diagrams. - Coordinate projects and responsibilities with skilled trades (mechanics, Technicians, Operators, etc.) to minimize downtime of equipment. - Perform predictive and preventive equipment maintenance. - Work within the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS): - Troubleshoot on designated industrial equipment, PLC, Drive, control systems and department machine centers - Use the CMMS system for managing work worders and backlog/documentation, ensure compliance to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements - Maintain necessary record keeping for equipment maintenance. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment suitable for the food packaging industry. - Suggest ideas to support continuous improvement in all areas of the Company.
