Since then, it has expanded rapidly to become Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 27 stores across the country: 12 in Metro Vancouver, 6 in Alberta, and 9 in Ontario (7 in GTA and 1 in Ottawa, 1 in Waterloo). Major Responsibilities: - Responsible for the storage of food, both incoming stock - Responsible for preparing ingredients before cooking, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or cleaning seafood - Ensure proper receiving is done and food is stored in the appropriate conditions - Responsible for his or her own station, ensuring that all items are appropriately cleaned and ready for use before and after each shift - Ensure recipes, ingredient specifications, quantity, quality, cooking time as stated in the SOPs are being executed - Ensure the kitchen meets sanitation standards as set by the Head Chef and Food safety - Ensure product quality, food safety, freshness and FIFO is strictly practiced within the department - Ensure that food is properly stored and handled at all times by ensuring all temperature records are properly completed - Responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene...
