Description We are currently seeking a licensed and board-certified PMHNP or FNP (with behavioral health experience) who understands the special touch that mental health/substance abuse patients require. The ideal candidate will have the following qualities: - Compassion towards people in recovery and in mental health treatment - Excellent provider judgment - Willingness to work with patients of all backgrounds and populations - Patience with client population - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Demonstrated ability to work as part of a healthcare team - Self-starter and problem solver - We are an LGBTQA+ friendly facility! Qualifications: - Master's Degree in Nursing - Licensed PMHNP/psych-experienced FNP with board certification - Graduate of an ANCC or AANP accredited nurse practitioner program - Have an X-Waiver (preferred) and DEA license with active prescriptive authority - Able to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and written - Ability to deal with both chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a non-judgmental, compassionate fashion - Demonstrated ability to establ...
