Job Description Hours: Full-time – 35 Hours: Work Location: 777 Third Ave, New York, NY 10017 Only candidates who are permanent in the Associate Project Manager title, reachable on DDC’s Promotional Exam #3573, or the Open Competitive Exam #3110 may apply. The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Borough Based Jails (BBJ) Division seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager. The selected candidate will manage complex capital commitment projects; review proposed projects to determine how and when the work should be performed; work with Sponsor Agencies to ensure an understanding of project scope, oversee project from conception to the construction completion and close-out. Reporting to the Program Executive, other key responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing deliverable dates to determine schedules that should be adhered to; supervise, coordinate, and direct project’s construction management and construction staff; appraise the Project Executive of any i...
