General Summary: - The Diet Aide 1 is responsible for washing and sanitizing of patient and cafeteria trays, utensils, dishware, transporting food to patient areas, and minor food production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry dishes and pots/pans as per job assignment. - Delivers patient meals to areas, timely to ensure patient satisfaction. - Assembles patient trays per menu. - Completes temperature logs and cleaning logs to ensure proper sanitation. - Cleans and ensures neat and organized work areas including equipment within assigned job area. Education: - High school education or equivalent preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
