IT FinOps Intern

Job description

We are seeking an IT FinOps Intern to join our dynamic Tech team. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail oriented , and eager to learn. You will work closely with the FinOps Manager and stakeholders to support the evolution of cloud cost reporting by implementing and analyzing Microsoft FinOps tooling, enhancing Power BI dashboards, and reconciling cloud billing data to improve transparency, accuracy, and cost allocation across teams. FinOps Reporting Support: Assist in the implementation and configuration of Microsoft’s FinOps Toolkit and Power BI FinOps reporting templates aligned with the FOCUS data standards. Billing Data Ingestion: Support the generation, intake, and validation of Azure Cost Management & Billing data exports into Azure SQL Database and reporting datasets. Data Reconciliation: Reconcile legacy inhouse FinOps reports with new Microsoft FinOps reporting to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Power BI Development: Contribute to the enhancement of Power BI reports, including data models, measures, and visualizations used by technical and financial stakeholders.
