About this position Carrier Transicold is seeking a very seasoned and motivated Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join the Syracuse, NY Truck/Trailer Power Generation team . In this role, the Engineer will provide technical guidance on diesel engine selection, system & subsystem integration, and verification activities to key internal stakeholders. A successful candidate will possess a proven track record of excellence in conducting comprehensive engine system and subsystem evaluation, customer duty cycle analyses, and optimization. Furthermore, the candidate shall have a strong history demonstrating how they have worked effectively with multinational suppliers, global peers and executives. This candidate is expected to be a solid mentor and coach to entry and mid-level engineers.
