Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview): Spry is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Mid) to join our team in Quantico, VA. This team oversees the creation, deployment, and ongoing support of software applications and systems. We are looking for someone with experience in integrating third-party applications, software development, conducting regular updates, and ensuring software meets business needs and performance standards. What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities): - Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace/OpenStack). Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website. Debugs cluster-based computing architectures. Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems. Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools. Configures management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt). Architecture for continuous integration and deployment, and continuous monitoring.
