ICT Shop Floor Control Specialist

Job description

The ICT Shop Floor Control Specialist (Level 92) serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for shop floor control solutions supporting Assembly plant operations across North America. This role is accountable for the end ‑ to ‑ end ownership, stability, and evolution of Shop Floor Control systems, including execution PLC logic, sequencing, dispatching, WIP tracking, traceability, and production status visibility. The specialist partners closely with Plant Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Launch teams, and strategic suppliers to ensure production ‑ critical systems enable safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing from order release through build completion. The role leads complex initiatives supporting new program launches, line retooling, and digital transformation, while driving standardization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across plants.
