Production Supervisor - Night Shift

Job Description: This position is responsible for supervising and guiding production personnel to achieve on-time and quality manufacturing. Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead production personnel by providing supervision and training, scheduling work, resolving problems, and providing direction, discipline and evaluations. - Identify staffing needs, interview, and recommend employee selection. - Work toward the achievement of department, site, and company goals in production, quality, and other standards. - Monitor and report daily production results, such as downtime, efficiencies, material shortage, and waste. - Interact with other internal functional departments, such as Quality and Engineering, to solve issues and improve productivity. - Ensure compliance to standards such as time and attendance, safety, SOP (standard operating procedures), and housekeeping practices. - Apply expertise in resolving problems associated with production and procedures. - Participate in productivity improvement projects. - Perform other duties as assigned.
