Information Governance File Review Staff Attorney Cooley is seeking an IG File Review Staff attorney to join the Information Governance & Privacy team. Position summary: Cooley Technology embraces a culture of customer service excellence, and all members of the department are expected to move this agenda forward. To that end, the IG File Review Staff Attorney is responsible for utilizing software and document review workflows to gather and review large amounts of electronic and physical records in connection with client file transfers, legal holds, and other IG review functions. This role will use substantive skills and professional maturity to operate independently with minimal guidance from the IG Compliance Manager. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Position responsibilities: - Perform substantive document review of both physical and electronic records - Review and code documents for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, risk management issues and privilege - Review and analyze information to help determine its relevance to a case - Utilize e-discovery software to narrow review and tag documents - Assist with legal hold re...
