About Us JBS Australia, part of the global JBS business, is the largest and most respected meat and food processor in Australia with a strong portfolio of leading beef, lamb, pork, salmon and value-added products. Our Northern division operates five beef processing plants across Queensland and Northern NSW, producing more than 400,000 tonnes of beef products every year. Located 12km south of Townsville, a major gateway to Queensland’s world-renowned Great Barrier Reef, the JBS Townsville Plant is JBS Australia’s most northern operation. Cattle are sourced from a wide supply area, including the Northern Territory, north and north-western Queensland and packed into the AMH brand, the most trusted name in beef. The plant employs approximately 430 team members with a processing capacity of 900 head of cattle per day, operating 4 days per week.
