Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Outpatient Pharmacy Purchasing Manager and Outpatient Pharmacy Purchasing Supervisor, and according to department policies and procedures, and guidelines, the individual is responsible for supporting all aspects pertaining to the procurement of outpatient, retail, mail order pharmacy pharmaceuticals, Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetics Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS), and maintenance of pharmacy medication and associated supplies. This includes but is not limited to: purchasing medications and pharmacy supplies monitoring inventory levels, rotating stock, and effectively utilizing return process to ensure proper credit is received from drug wholesaler.
