Timmons Group is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer I candidate for our Richmond, VA office's Traffic Analysis & Planning Group . Essential duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: - Complete operational analysis, corridor studies, traffic studies, innovative intersection implementation, traffic calming, and safety analysis; - Bicycle/pedestrian/multi-modal feasibility, analysis, design, and implementation; - Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilizes computers in order to solve problems - Research and prepare material specifications, installation guidelines, and inspection protocols. - Work to complete design details and plan sets - Complete field observation, inspection and data collection duties as directed by senior engineering staff - Collaborate with client staff and internal design team as directed by senior engineering staff - Contribute to cost estimates and technical reports that drive project success....
