Overview The Manufacturing Engineer position is responsible for supporting production of high end analytical instrumentation at our New Castle, Delaware, facility. This position is part of a dynamic cross-functional engineering team that investigates defects and drives continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes. Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following The manufacturing engineering activities may involve: - Theoretical and experimental investigation for failure analysis and qualification of alternate hardware - Technical direction and coordination in a manufacturing environment - Conception and planning of resources to support hardware requirements - The analysis, evaluation, and solution of technical problems encountered in the application of manufacturing methods, facilities, processes, materials and tooling incident to the fabrication and assembly of high-technology instruments - Responsible for maintaining the design of released products with the goal of continuously improving quality, customer satisfaction,efficiency of producti...
