The University of Miami UHealth has an exciting opportunity for a full time Medical Assistant 1 at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Miami. The incumbent performs multi-skilled tasks to assist with patients’ healthcare management and clinical procedures in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service. The Medical Assistant 1 provides hands-on care to patients while adhering to regulatory requirements, standards of care, and institutional policies and procedures, under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician. The incumbent adheres to ethical and legal standards of professional practice, recognize, respond to emergencies, and demonstrate professionalism.
