$7,500.00 SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE: Essential Job Functions: Competency and Experience [Knowledge, Skills and Abilities] - Demonstrate high level of skill in HIS functions for patient registrations; collect accurate patient information, review and enter physician orders into the computer, complete patient forms and identifications. - Perform patient demographic inquiries to verify information, assuring the accuracy of patient identification using two identifiers. - Demonstrate knowledge of insurance guidelines; verifies insurance via online eligibility system and update per response. - Complete forms as required and appropriate and use the appropriate registration codes. - Comply with current registration, coding and billing policies. - Utilize the order entry system for resolution of order errors, troubleshooting and placing work orders. - Demonstrates high level of skill in Laboratory Information System (LIS) functions; accurately place orders, look up test codes, collection information, physician demographics, faxIQ, etc. - Monitor various reports to track specimens and/or results. - Monitors HIS-LIS interactions and communications, corrects minor issues, and reports unresolved pr...
