Job Description Summary The Lead Engineer will be part of highly motivated dynamic team of engineers. The role involves leading the design and development of modelling techniques for HVDC systems, mentoring engineers and contributing to industry standards. The position also encompasses development and maintenance of control and protection system application software for LCC and VSC HVDC schemes following full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Job Description: As a Lead Engineer, you will report within the Product Care Department. The successful candidate will be part of a highly motivated, dynamic, and growing team of engineers working on the design of HVDC Control Systems. This is a very exciting and dynamic field of control engineering in which GE’s leading contribution has worldwide recognition. The Product Care function maintains Control and Protection application software, platform, valve electronics, handling obsolescence and implementing a life cycle process for the parts included, including what and when to communicate to customers, internal as well as external.
