Job description

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician III - Overhead Door Technician to join our operations & maintenance team. This position is responsible for providing an advanced level expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on the facility in a large industrial environment including clean rooms. Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the strong organizational/time management skills needed to be successful in this role. Must have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial facility equipment and systems other equipment as required. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair overhead doors. Troubleshoot and repair roll up doors Troubleshoot and repair gates and gate arms Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and performs required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. Communicates noncompliance concerns to ensure corrective actions have taken place. Performs preventive maintenance on mechanical systems control and operating systems as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
