The Team The LGH Transit Lounge is a unit within the Patient Access and Flow department. Operating in a fast-paced environment, it manages a high volume of patients between 08:30 and 18:00, Monday to Friday. The Transit Lounge supports patients who are awaiting discharge, transfer, or admission to an available bed. Our dedicated friendly nursing team is committed to delivering the highest standard of care. As a small and collaborative unit, the Transit Lounge offers valuable opportunities for professional growth and development. The Role: The Registered Nurse plays a vital role in delivering holistic patient care and fostering a safe, supportive environment. They provide evidence-based care aligned with the nursing care plan and participates in Quality Improvement initiatives. The Registered Nurse actively contributes to the planning and evaluation of patient care and health information. They participate in multidisciplinary discussions to support the achievement of desired patient outcomes and operate under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager.
