Job Title: Float RN II - Float Pool RN II: Competent to float to any unit in the facility/organization Base Rate: $49.87 to $73.32: 12 hr. shifts- paid overtime after 8 hours, resulting in an average rate of $58.18 - $85.54 Sign-on/Retention Bonus: $10,000 /Full Time Only Job Summary: The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) can be assigned to any unit within the floating cluster assigned, per the competency without any exception. The Float Pool RN is responsible for the provision and coordination of patient centered care in the assigned area and follows the nursing process in the safe delivery of patient care. The Float Pool RN coordinates care to achieve desired outcomes, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by delegating and working cooperatively and collaboratively with ancillary, nursing and other patient team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice and performance in the clinical setting. The Float Pool RN must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service to all patients in the assigned unit.
