Department: 02240 HC Specialty Center MOB 550 Redmond Rd - Neurology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: m-f 8a-5p Pay Range: $25.30 - $37.95 Essential Functions: - Performs routine and complex electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures, nerve conduction studies (NCV), evoked potential (EP) and others, depending on specialty area training. - Demonstrates knowledge of the equipment operator's manual and calibration procedures. Identifies and corrects basic equipment issues when they occur. - Performs Neurodiagnostic procedures using appropriate test strategy, electrode montage parameters, and calibration. - Obtains all relevant information from the patient's medical record history and progress notes, and transfers this to the technologist's report. - Adopts methods and instrumentation to obtain optimal results, based on medical history, clinical observations, and diagnostic test findings. - Adheres to the standards of practice for test recordings, as outlined by ABRET. - Maintains complete and accurate record keeping, including history forms and archived records of clipped data. - Assists with the technical operation of sp...
