Job description

Pay is $40.00/hour Position Summary: Teach children with developmental disabilities in a 6:1:3 or 8:1:2 classroom ratio for six week summer session (30 days). Implement IEPS, structured learning activities, and recreation opportunities. Supervise non-exempt personnel and work collaboratively with support staff and related service providers for students ages 5-22. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: - Create and implement lesson plans that are fun, engaging, and meet IEP objectives., - Demonstrate and support staff in data collection and monitoring techniques to exemplify empirical documentation of progress. - Meet regularly with colleagues and staff regarding new learning targets/goals for each student and input related to behavior management plans. - Ensure the completion of all program documentation for program review and assessment, and reports and plans to meet state requirements. - Manage classroom environment and daily schedule. - Supervise, classroom staff including a teaching assistant, classroom aide and shared staff. - Provide direct support to students - Implement Behavior Intervention and other student specific service plans - Attend agency, faculty and student meeti...
